ABOUT
Built by a practitioner, for practitioners
TaxRiskOS is workflow software for the first hour after a client forwards an IRS notice. It's built by one founder, with a deliberately narrow scope and an honest account of where things stand.
Workflow support only. Not legal or tax advice. No response drafting.
Who's building it
- John Webb — solo founder, based in Louisville, Kentucky.
- University of Kentucky (Gatton College) accounting and finance graduate.
- Former KPMG audit associate — the work is shaped by audit discipline: structure the facts, document every step, keep judgment with the licensed professional.
- One person building one focused thing, not an all-things platform.
Where things honestly stand
Company
TaxRiskOS LLC — formation in progress in Kentucky.
Stage
Pre-revenue. A working prototype with a synthetic-data demo; no paying customers yet, and we don't pretend otherwise.
Advisor
Guided by an experienced federal tax-controversy advisor, to be named when appropriate.
No customer logos, testimonials, or traction numbers appear on this site because there aren't any yet. When there are, they'll be real.
Why the first hour
A client forwards an IRS notice and a statutory clock is already running. The first hour decides whether the right deadline is captured, the right documents are requested, and the right person owns the matter. TaxRiskOS makes that hour repeatable — then hands a clean, dated file to whatever you already use. It doesn't give advice or draft responses; you do.
